About

I have resided in district 2 and attended its schools from kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating from Lackey High School in 1989.

After graduating, I continued my education at the Control Data Institute of Technology in Arlington, VA., and course work at the College of Southern Maryland. During my IT career, I have worked for companies such as Mobil Oil Corporation, Hitachi Data Systems, and Federal Data Systems, Computer Specialist Inc., In 2000 I begin working for INOVA Health System as an IT Enterprise Desktop Administrator.

I am the fourth of five children born to Mr. Walter Henry and the late Estelle Henry, Am also the proud father of two young men, Jason Jr., and Dashawn, and one grandson.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy attending home games for the Washington Wizards and Georgetown Hoyas, traveling, fishing, bowling, playing golf, and refereeing local high school basketball games in the Washington Metropolitan region.

I am very active in the community, volunteering, and being a strong advocate for youth, seniors, working families, the homeless, and other underserved citizens in our county and throughout the state of Maryland. In 2017 I helped organize and led hundreds of county residents in opposition to the (WCD) Watershed Conservation District Amendments and fighting for property owner's property rights through the Charles County Citizens Rights Group.
